Numerous attempts by the engineers at Research Institute 7 to increase capacity by expanding the internal volume through more compact assembly yielded no results, necessitating not only the enlargement of the container itself but also the layer of protective coating. The result was a bulky yet spacious container, nicknamed Kega by stalkers due to its external resemblance.
